Hey people, we just heard from Pipo Grosso himself, that Grosso Boards are in fact NOT DEAD!!! This is great news to hear!
It would seem that after a few differences between business partners, Pipo is now regrouping, and getting things underway to restart production of boards. All I can say is, let me know if you need anything buddy, Grosso Pivotboards are the best around right now.
Good luck with everything Pipo, keep us informed buddy, oh, and WE'RE SORRY FOR THE MISTAKE!!
It would seem that the 2 main guys from Grosso Boards in Argentina, Pipo Grosso, and 'Tuna', have fallen out.
Our communications with Tuna indicate that they no longer work with Pipo Grosso. Other sources say that the two of them cannot work together, and they're currently trying to figure out what's going to happen with the factory. Either way, this does not look good for the future of Grosso Boards. This totally sucks, as Grosso Boards pretty much had the best built boards around, were the most progressive in design, and really were going somewhere.
Looks like we're stuck with just 2 boards companies again.

For those of you that don't know anything about Pivotboard.com, or have been wondering why we do what we do, then read about it here:
The term 'Pivotboard' was invented by myself, former pro snakeboarder, Rick Lowe, back before I turned pro, in 1994. Within the first few days of riding, I'd pretty much decided that the name 'Snakeboard' sucked. I sat and thought for a little while about what I would call it, that would sound better. That was when the term 'Pivotboard' was born.
